Melaku Belay [Fendika Cultural Center] and Jeroen Visser [Trio Kazanchis+1] joined forces to form this 10-piece band (recently Marina Iten joined us). The mesmerizing azmari vocals of Nardos Tesfaw alternate with melody-told instrumentals. The electrified traditional instruments [masenqo-krar-kebero] and the funky horns merge into tight arrangements as well as into energetic improvisations.
